Ages ago I ordered a book on the art of Caravaggio and when I got it was partially cut up. Some pages were just torn out, other ones had bits cut off and I could tell another, filthy collager had been at work and cleverly resold the book when he/she was done with it. The same thing happened with a book on pre raphaelite photography. in both cases I kept the books and just continued the process of cutting them up that someone else had started

These pictures were all made using the 'select' tool in Paint, cutting out square chunks and putting them onto a monochrome bitmap picture. These were all made after a period of snotty self-art disgust when I felt too queasy to handle paper, scissors, glue, pencils, etc.
